Natasha's home town is Ranau. A peaceful place right at the foot of Sabah's majestic 4095m high Mount Kinabalu. After completing school, she worked for few years as a kindergarten teacher before becoming an accountant. In 1997 she joined the scuba diving industry and had the opportunity to take up diving and become a PADI Rescue Diver. Natasha co-founded Treasure Images Sdn Bhd in 2002. She loves outdoor photography and traveling, although she spends most of her time in the office overlooking the company's finances. Currently she lives with her fiancee in Kota Kinabalu.

Director of Operations
Eric was born and grew up in Switzerland, where he worked as a Swiss banker for some years. Feeling himself completely out of place, he decided to start a new life in Asia. After years of traveling and working throughout Southeast Asia, he found the place where he finally allowed himself to settle down in 1999. Today he lives with his wife and his two daughters in Sabah. In 2002 he co-founded Treasure Images Sdn Bhd. Apart from being responsible for the company's day-to-day operations, Eric does most of the company's topside and underwater photography himself. His multi-task job description also includes being a Director, DOP, Editor, Photo- and Video Instructor, Webmaster and half a dozen other positions.

Director / Senior Underwater Camera Operator
Walter also grew up in the small town of Ranau in Sabah's mountainous region. As a teenager he was already drawn to the sea and left to Kota Kinabalu where he pursued a career in the scuba diving industry and became a PADI Assistant-Instructor soon after. In 2002 he joined Treasure Images Sdn Bhd and has since spent thousands of hours filming underwater and assisting in many productions. Today, Walter lives together with his wife and two kids in Mabul Island, where he oversees the company's resort studios.

Underwater Camera Operator
Sophia, nicknamed "fish", is another "child of sabah" who became interested in the magic world of the oceans very early in life. She got herself into the diving industry and became a PADI Divemaster. Diving has given her the opportunity to travel and since then, she sees the world differently. She has expanded her diving career in underwater photography and videography throughout the years. Sophia worked as an underwater videographer in the Red Sea, before joining the Treasure Images crew in 2008.

Dave considers his home as the place where he readily can get fish & chips and meat pies - England. Born and grew up in Preston, he worked as a travel agent whenever he was not travelling. On one of his extensive trips through Asia he found the "love of his life" - scuba diving.
Being his lifetime hero, Sir David Attenborough gave him the inspiration and interest for natural history. Naturally it came all together and Dave finally joined the Treasure Images crew in early 2009.

Freelance Location Manager
Eric Thein knows Sabah's production locations like no-one else. He has worked as Location Manager for many major Wildlife Documentary Producers and Broadcasters visiting Borneo. Natural history is his speciality and he brings 30 years of working experience with him. Locating a wild giant 20-feet python snake, saltwater crocodiles, pygmy elephants, orang utans, slow loris and other exotic Borneo wildlife is what he does best. Still, he also manages other productions from reality TV shows, soap operas to commercials. One of Eric's favorite locations, even outside working hours, is the Kinabatangen River, where he spends lots of time observing wildlife.

Editor & Production Assistant
Gary, a former Hong Kong police officer, retired from the force in early 2004 so he could escape the hectic live in the crowded Asian metropolis. Already a NAUI Diving Instructor at the time, he enjoyed scuba diving Borneo's reefs while getting more and more interested in filming and photography. He moved to Sabah and joined Treasure Images, refining his skills in underwater videography and as an editor. Gary also enjoys cooking when he is not too busy editing.

Production Assistant
Cheryl Madeja is a full time mother. She not only takes care of two young daughters, but also makes sure all the important logistical details during productions won't be forgotten.
Cheryl grew up in the Philippines and came to Sabah in 1997 where she met her husband.
She enjoys traveling, singing, a good meal and a glass of wine.
